So They Can is a charity that organises education, family and community support, health services and more in both Kenya and Tanzania. Founder Cass Treadwell and ambassador Thomasin McKenzie, both Old Girls, were in Kenya in March for 1 Human Race, a yearly challenge hosted by So They Can. 85% of girls in East Pokot, Kenya are subjected to FGC and child marriage. Participants run 85km every year throughout the month to raise $85,000 so that they can send at risk girls to school and protect them in doing so.
