Renowned photojournalist Ans Westra dies

We note with sadness the recent passing of renowned photojournalist, Ans Westra. Marsden was fortunate to have experienced her great talent firsthand as our Artist in Residence in 2003, our 125th Anniversary year. During her residency Ans undertook a photo essay of the school, and this collection has become a valuable part of our historical records. Ans's daughter attended Marsden and we send our deepest sympathies to her family. We are grateful that Ans lives on in the amazing work she leaves behind. (07/03/2023) |
